Safety is the most important element in our business and for our company. Our people are our most valuable asset, and their safety must take precedence over everything.

We believe that all accidents and injuries are preventable and that this is achieved by the efforts of each and every individual, working within a framework of safe procedures and policies. This framework is provided by a written safety plan that we have developed through our years of experience and through the sharing of information within our industry. We hold each employee responsible for his or her own safety, and for the safety of those people working nearby.

We recognize that employee training is fundamental to our safety focus, and we ensure that each employee has the necessary skills and experience to meet the requirements of the task at hand. In addition, we strive for continuous improvement in our procedures and practices, and for continued education of all employees through ongoing training efforts.

To ensure that safety is in the forefront of each of our employees’ minds each day, we have developed an extensive workplace safety program. We require that each employee participate in a daily safety meeting with topics reflecting all aspects of requirements to crane and rigging procedures, and employees are encouraged to provide suggestions and other input.

We also expect each employee to participate in a Job Safety Analysis with the work crew in order to identify and mitigate any potential safety issues before a task begins. Employees are also required to complete an extensive inspection on all equipment before use to ensure that it can be used safely. Throughout the work shift, employees are expected to maintain their awareness and safety focus.
